Meet Dr. Wu
Sean Wu, M.D. is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology. His general dermatology interests include melasma, skin cancer, acne, rosacea, eczema, and psoriasis. He also offers a wide variety of cosmetic treatments, including injectable treatments (Botox, dermal fillers, Kybella, and sclerotherapy) and laser therapies (dilated veins, redness; brown spots, resurfacing, acne scarring, fine lines/wrinkles).
Originally from Memphis, TN, Dr. Wu completed his undergraduate degree in molecular biology at Princeton University. He then attended Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, in Cleveland, OH, where he found his passion for dermatology. He graduated medical school with distinctions in research for his work at the Cleveland Clinic. He went on to receive his clinical training in internal medicine at the University of Chicago followed by a dermatology residency at the University of Cincinnati, serving as chief resident in his final year of residency. Afterwards, Dr. Wu completed a cosmetic dermatologic surgery fellowship with Drs. Robert and Margaret Weiss before starting his clinical practice with Maryland Dermatology, Laser, Skin, and Vein.
Dr. Wu is incredibly excited to be serving the patients of the Greater Baltimore area and beyond. His research has been published in renown journals such as the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, JAMA Dermatology, and Dermatologic Surgery. He has also presented his research at national conferences and has published a book chapter on rejuvenation of the chest. He also serves as the incoming Vice President of the Maryland Dermatologic Society.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, swimming, and traveling.
Dr. Wu is currently accepting new patients for both general and cosmetic dermatology.
