All of us at MD Dermatology, Laser, Skin & Vein Institute wish our Governor of Maryland, Mr. Larry Hogan, a speedy recovery from his minor surgery scheduled for February 3, 2018, for recently diagnosed skin cancers: basal and squamous cell carcinoma. He is in excellent hands with an expert board-certified dermatologist in Annapolis.
Mr. Hogan’s skin cancers were found during an annual skin examination by his dermatologist. He admits that his love of the sun and having a dark tan during his summers as a young lifeguard contributed to these growths. Mr. Hogan never wore sunscreen in his youth, but he says he’ll be handing out tubes of SPF 50 wherever he goes now!
