Tixel

Tixel® is a unique medical device powered by proprietary Thermo-Mechanical Action technology (TMA®). Combining heat and motion, its medical-grade titanium tip gently applies heat to the skin. Motion & Heat

This proprietary non-laser fractional technology transfers thermal energy to the skin very quickly and safely: energy is emitted through a matrix of 81 tiny pyramid-shaped pins (9 x 9) made of biocompatible materials covering a treatment area of 1cm². The pins are heated to a temperature of 400°C and are self-sterilized. Tixel® applies natural heat directly to the skin, with facial treatment typically lasting around 20 minutes. During treatment, the pins are only very briefly applied to the surface of the skin at a controlled speed. This enables the thermal energy stored in the pins to be transferred to the skin. Because the tiny tip pyramids hold a limited amount of energy, burns are prevented. Non-invasive and safe, Tixel® improves skin complexion and reverses photoaging damage, so you can look forward to more youthful, revitalized skin.

After Treatment

After treatment, the skin is slightly swollen and red for 3 to 4 hours. There is minimal downtime from 0 to 2 days, depending on treatment intensity. Micro-crusting will appear the following day but this can be covered up with make-up until it disappears after a few days.
