ThermiRF is a minimally invasive aesthetic technology that uses the heat of radiofrequency to combat specific sections of fatty or sagging skin. It works by heating the subdermal layer in order to rapidly shrink problem areas, tighten skin, reduce fat and smooth wrinkles. After an injection of a local anesthetic to numb the area, a tiny probe is placed beneath the skin that emits radiofrequency energy. As radiofrequency energy heats the area, the patient feels a little warmth but no discomfort, and the heat painlessly targets tissues in order to shrink and tighten the area. ThermiRF heats the subdermal layer in order to rapidly shrink problem areas, tighten skin, reduce fat and smooth wrinkles.

FDA-approved for nerve ablation and ideal for body contouring, ThermiRF is the first FDA-cleared device to use temperature-controlled radiofrequency to perform cosmetic treatments. What’s more, it has been shown to achieve long-lasting results quickly, effectively, and safely—even easier and faster than liposuction. It can be used alone or in conjunction with new injectable fat-dissolving agents like Kybella®.

ThermiRF can be used on the face, neck, stomach, arms, thighs, love handles, or other areas of the body where smoothing and tightening are desired. Whether it’s used to smooth frown lines, reduce the look of a double chin, smooth out post-liposuction lumps or tighten skin on the neck, it is a quick, in-office procedure that requires little downtime. ThermiTight melts fat and tightens skin in places like the jaw and neck, under the eyes, on the stomach, and others. ThermiSmooth counteracts crow’s feet, smile lines, or other wrinkles, creating a smoother look around the eyes and cheek. With either procedure, results can be seen immediately with further improvement over time. Results can last up to several years. Plus, the minimal downtime means most patients are able to return to normal activities within 24 hours of receiving treatment.
