Frequently Asked QuestionsWho is a candidate for treatment?
A good candidate for Pharos treatments is anyone with localized affected areas including the face, neck, and torso. We can treat patients of all ages and ethnic backgrounds. Patients with hard to treat areas such as under the arms are also able to be treated by Pharos.
What can I expect during treatment?
Before treatment our provider will examine you, discuss your goals for the treatment, and determine the best dosage for you. During treatment, as the hand piece is placed directly on the treatment area, you will hear a gentle hum and see a blue light. Treatments usually take only a few minutes.
How many treatment sessions will I need?
During your initial visit our provider will create a customized course of therapy for you based upon the degree of depigmentation to the skin and the location of the affected area.
