What are SilkPeels?

Similar to microdermabrasion, the SilkPeel™ Dermalinfusion™ System combines non-invasive exfoliation with deep delivery of patient-specific solutions directly to the skin without the use of crystal or other chemical exfoliants. It delivers immediate results, won't take hours out of your busy schedule, and will leave you with noticeably better and softer, smoother skin in under 30 minutes. The procedure is non-invasive and even soothing; delivering the results you want without harsh chemicals, discomfort or recovery time. At MDLSVI, we have replaced traditional microdermabrasion (MegaPeel, Parisian Peel) with the SilkPeel, and our patients are happy with the improvement.

What results can you expect?

When you get a SilkPeel™, you won't have any downtime, and don't have to worry about dealing with irritated or inflamed skin. Within about 30 minutes, SilkPeel's wet exfoliation leaves your skin silky smooth, hydrated, bright, and glowing. SilkPeel™ procedures can assist in the improvement of the skin in many ways, including: • Clarifying oily, blemish prone or acne prone skin; • Moisturizing dry, flaky patches or fine lines and wrinkles; • Brightening dull skin • Refreshing a fading tan after the summer Age spots, sunspots, mild acne marks and fine lines are often diminished. What are SilkPeel treatments like?

How soon will I see results?

After your first treatment, your skin will have a fresh pink glow. Improvement continues throughout your treatment program. The number of treatments recommended for maximum results ranges from two to twelve. To accelerate and maintain your improvement, use of therapeutic at-home skin care products and sun protection are very important. Depending on your degree of sundamage or pore size, maintenance treatments may be necessary occasionally.
